Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?

We deliver across Dar es Salaam. Delivery is free on orders above TZS 150,000. For smaller orders, we will confirm the delivery cost for your area on WhatsApp before you pay. Outside Dar es Salaam, ask us and we will tell you the options for your region.

When your fries arrive, put them straight into the freezer. Our guide to storing frozen fries explains how to keep them at their best for up to 12 months.

How do wholesale orders work?

  1. Request wholesale pricing using the wholesale form or WhatsApp. Tell us your business type, location and expected volume (15 to 30 kg, 30 to 50 kg or more than 50 kg).
  2. We send your price and delivery options.
  3. Choose a delivery schedule, weekly or biweekly, so you never run out.
  4. Ask for an invoice if your business needs one.

Can I order a custom cut?

Yes. Skin-on fries, spiced fries, a thicker or thinner cut, or special packing can be arranged. Use the Custom tab in the order form or message us with what you need and how much. Our guide to types of fry cuts can help you decide.

How do I become a Supa Fries distributor?

We are looking for distributors and frozen food wholesalers who want to bring Supa Fries to more towns and regions across Tanzania. If you already supply restaurants, hotels or shops and have cold storage, send us your details on WhatsApp or email and our team will get back to you. More on the distributors page.

What should I include in my WhatsApp order?

A complete first message means a faster reply. Include:

Example: "Hi Supa Fries, I'm Amina from Sinza. I'd like 4 packs of 2 kg delivered on Friday afternoon." The order form builds this message for you.

What should I do when my order arrives?

  1. Check the packs are frozen hard and sealed.
  2. Put them in the freezer immediately, before unpacking anything else.
  3. Keep the freezer at −18°C or colder.
  4. Rotate stock: newer packs underneath or behind older ones.

If anything looks wrong, message us straight away with a photo. More in how to store frozen fries.

How do businesses set up regular supply?

Once you know your weekly usage, we can agree a regular delivery day, weekly or biweekly, so stock arrives before you run low. Tell us your freezer capacity and busiest days, and we will suggest an order size. Regular customers get predictable supply, simple re-ordering on WhatsApp and invoices on request. Read why restaurants choose Supa Fries, or if you run a shop, how to sell frozen fries in your shop.

How do you keep fries frozen during delivery?

Frozen food must stay frozen all the way from our freezer to yours. That is why we ask you to be available at delivery time and to put packs straight into the freezer. If you collect fries yourself or carry them home from a shop, use an insulated cool bag, buy frozen food last, and go straight home. In Dar es Salaam's heat, a pack left in a car or on a counter can start to thaw in under an hour. Fries that have thawed should be cooked that day and never refrozen.

How quickly will you reply?

We aim to reply quickly during business hours on WhatsApp, which is the fastest way to reach us. For business enquiries that need documents or invoices, email info@supafries.co.tz. For news, recipes and offers, follow @chefrys.tz on Instagram. To learn more about us first, read frozen fries made in Tanzania and the 2 kg pack guide.

What should first-time customers try?

Start with one or two 2 kg packs and cook them three ways in your first week: deep fried for chipsi mayai, air fried for a lighter dinner, and oven baked for a family tray. That shows you which method your household likes best. For businesses, a 15 kg trial order run side by side with your current chips for a week is the clearest test. See the 2 kg pack guide for times and portions.

How do I order for a wedding or big event?

Message us at least a week before the event with the date, location, number of guests and whether chips are a side or the main food. We will help you work out the quantity, confirm stock and agree a delivery time that gives you enough freezer or cool box space. For very large events, ordering earlier is better. Our guide to catering with fries explains quantities, fryers and how to keep chips crisp for hundreds of guests.

How do I give feedback or report a problem?

We want every pack to be right. If something is not, send us a WhatsApp message with a photo, the date you received the order and what went wrong. Feedback on cooking results is welcome too: if your fries are not turning out the way you expect, tell us how you cooked them and we will help. Often a small change, like oil temperature or batch size, makes all the difference. See 9 tips for crispy chips.
